A collection of courage

Screen Shot 2015-10-21 at 4.39.08 PM I wanted to share some resources that have helped me on my journey of choosing brave. We need each other, don't we? It's so much harder to be brave when we're swimming by ourselves. It's much easier when we have someone holding our hand beside us. I hope these encourage you as much as they have encouraged me.

Blog posts: (Either on the topic of bravery, or they inspired me with how brave the writer is.)

When you're not excited about having a baby by Kendra // The Lazy Genius

Why flying makes me apologize by Mary Carver // Giving Up On Perfect

The sanitized stories we tell by Sarah Bessey

31 days of brave by Faith // Faith's writing her 31 days series about brave as well!

Verses:

"For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty Saviour. He will delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all of your fears." - Zephaniah 3:17 // My favourite verse in the world.

"In my anguish I cried to the Lord and he answered by setting me free. The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid." - Psalm 118:5, 6
